Chris graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. He knew that his passion within physiotherapy was the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. As a result, he went straight into private practice to further develop his skills in the field. Chris moved to the UK in 2002 where he worked in a variety of settings including private practice, the NHS and predominantly the British Military. The variety of working environments has seen Chris treat patients from adolescents to the elderly, amateur sports people to elite athletes and regular soldiers to Special Forces. Chris believes that communication is the key to rehabilitation. He works with his clients to determine the underlying cause of their symptoms and develop a treatment plan that enables them to achieve their goals and live the best life that they can. During his career Chris has developed a special interest in the management of disorders of the lumbar spine and pelvis, nerve pain and headaches. He uses a variety of techniques including manual therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription. To ensure that he remains up to date with the latest developments in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Chris participates in extensive post-graduate study. Chris’ currently holds the position of Chairman of the Physiotherapy Business Association (WA), to help support and develop physiotherapy in private practice. Outside of work Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 children and dog, playing golf and keeping fit at the gym.
