Tara Mitchell – Physiotherapist

Since graduating from Curtin University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy), Tara has worked in private practice and and within the residential and community aged care setting.
Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, Tara worked as a remedial massage therapist for 10 years. This has given her an excellent grounding in the assessment and treatment of soft tissue injuries.
She has utilised these skills for many years managing triathletes competing in the Busselton Ironman event.
Tara Mitchell has also developed skills in return to function programs and provided falls management, joint replacement rehabilitation and fracture management .
Tara Mitchell uses an extensive repertoire of manual therapy techniques and dry needling for musculoskeletal conditions to help you return to better function or sports performance. Tara can also assist you with a strength and conditioning program as part of your goal-oriented return to optimal activity.
Tara’s passion for animals has seen her complete a postgraduate diploma from the University of Liverpool in Animal Physiotherapy.
